Included and excluded components
- One Powerflex PFR5-4030 dual-mount rear differential bracket, with the manufacturer's supplied M14 bolt and thread locker.
- One full vehicle set of Powerflex PFR5-4025 bushes for the front mountings of the rear differential.
- No PFR5-4026 rear bushes and no Genuine BMW rear bushes.
A dual-bush rear installation needs two suitable rear bushes in total. Do not assume this package contains them. Choose the PFR5-4026 rear bush separately, or purchase the complete bracket, front-bush and two-rear-bush kit.
Verified F8x component applications
The PFR5-4030 and PFR5-4025 combination is for BMW M2 F87, including M2 Competition, M3 F80, M4 Coupe F82 and M4 Convertible F83. Check that the original mounting arrangement is present, especially on cars with modified differentials or subframes.
Not a general F-series or G-series kit. G8x front differential mounting bushes use a different reference, PFR5-4024. Shared rear-bush references do not establish that the F8x bracket fits a G80, G81, G82, G83 or G87.
Front bushes of the rear differential
The word front describes the forward mounting positions on the rear differential. These PFR5-4025 bushes are not front suspension bushes, rear subframe bushes or front-axle differential mounts. The separate PFR5-4026 rear bushes support the rear of the same differential.
Compare the other packages
Choose bracket only when no front bush set is required. The Genuine BMW rear-bush and bracket package contains two rubber rear bushes but no front bush set.
Before fitting
Have the existing bushes and mounting points inspected, and follow the Powerflex fitting instructions. Polyurethane mounting changes can affect cabin noise and vibration; they are not a guaranteed cure for every drivetrain symptom. Confirm the exact chassis and installation requirements before ordering; there is no blanket fitment guarantee.
