GiroDisc TS-2220-4 titanium pad heat shields use the rear 2220 profile for the specified BMW M240i, M340i, M440i, X3/X4 M40i and Z4 M40i applications. The BMW fitments are identified by their 348 mm front-disc brake configuration. The same SKU is also listed for the rear brakes of the Toyota GR Supra 3.0.
The shields sit behind the rear pad backing plates, between the pads and caliper pistons. Their titanium construction reduces heat transfer into the caliper during braking. Match the installed rear pad profile and brake package to select the correct thermal barrier for the application.
