GiroDisc TS-1880-4 titanium pad heat shields fit the four-piston front calipers on the listed BMW F8X M2, M3 and M4 blue-caliper brake package. This application uses 380 mm front discs. Match that configuration and the installed front pad shape before selecting the shields.
Installed behind the brake pad backing plates, the titanium shields reduce heat transfer from the pads into the caliper pistons. They add a thermal barrier within the front brake assembly for demanding use. Correct pads, fluid and brake cooling remain part of preparing the car for its intended driving, especially when braking repeatedly on circuit.
