GiroDisc TS-1656-4 titanium pad heat shields fit the two-piston rear calipers on the listed BMW F8X M2, M3 and M4 blue-caliper brake setup. Select this rear profile for the configuration identified by 380 mm front discs, then check the shape of the fitted rear pads.
The shields sit between the rear pad backing plates and caliper pistons. Their titanium construction reduces heat transfer from the pads into the caliper during repeated braking. They provide an additional thermal barrier within the existing brake assembly, alongside appropriate pad selection, brake fluid and cooling for the way the car is used.
