GiroDisc TS-0738-4 titanium pad heat shields fit the rear brakes of the specified Porsche 996/997.1 Carrera/C4, 986 Boxster S, 987 Cayman and selected 981/982 Cayman and Boxster applications. They sit behind the matching brake pad backing plates, between the pads and caliper pistons.
The titanium layer reduces heat transfer from the pads into the caliper during repeated braking. This makes the shields a useful supporting component when preparing the listed Porsche brake systems for demanding use. GiroDisc cuts the shields to the required profile and supplies four pieces for one axle.
