AP Racing CP9660 Front Big Brake Kit for BMW F8X M2, M3 & M4

A configurable front big brake package for the BMW F87 M2, F87 M2 Competition, F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4, built around genuine AP Racing Pro5000R CP9660 six-piston calipers. The kit is designed to give two rotor routes: brand-new genuine AP Racing 378 x 36 mm floating discs, or the proven lower-cost ex-BTCC AP Racing 368 x 36 mm setup.

• AP Racing floating disc bobbin hardware sourced directly from AP Racing
• AP Racing anti-rattle spring clips for the floating disc assemblies
• XC3 Engineering vehicle-specific aluminium rotor bells
• XC3 Engineering vehicle-specific CP9660 caliper carriers
• XC3 Engineering F8X braided front brake lines specifically designed to connect the BMW chassis hard lines to AP Racing CP9660 calipers
• Brake pads according to the selected option

The aim is to retain the proven XC3-style F8X mounting solution while sourcing the AP Racing consumable and caliper components directly. The XC3 braided front lines are included as standard with every specification of the kit.

Rotor Options

Brand-New AP Racing 378 x 36 mm

• Pair of genuine AP Racing 378 x 36 mm floating front discs / friction rings
• Brand-new AP Racing rotor hardware
• XC3 bells and caliper-carrier geometry matched to the 378 mm rotor package
• XC3 F8X braided front brake lines for CP9660 calipers
• Higher thermal capacity and braking torque than the 368 mm configuration

Important: the standard XC3 F8X BTCC mounting kit is engineered around 368 x 36 mm rotors. The 378 mm AP Racing option therefore requires the correct 378 mm caliper-carrier geometry. XC3 have confirmed that their 240 PCD bells should work with the AP 378 x 36 mm floating rotors shown, subject to final physical fitment confirmation.

The 368 mm BTCC option uses previously run motorsport rotors. Cosmetic condition and remaining service life can vary, so each pair should be inspected before supply. This route keeps replacement consumable costs lower while retaining a proven CP9660 / 368 x 36 mm motorsport package.

• 1 x pair of front stainless steel braided brake lines
• Designed specifically for BMW F87 M2, F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 using AP Racing CP9660 calipers
• Correct fittings for the BMW F8X chassis hard lines and CP9660 calipers
• Included with both the 378 x 36 mm AP Racing and 368 x 36 mm ex-BTCC configurations

Important Fitment Information

This is a front-axle motorsport brake conversion. Wheel-to-caliper and wheel-to-disc clearance must be checked before ordering. A 378 mm rotor requires more radial clearance than the 368 mm BTCC package. AP Racing Pro5000R calipers do not use conventional road-car dust seals and should be inspected and maintained appropriately, particularly on cars used through winter. Brake systems are safety-critical and professional installation is strongly recommended.
